The importance of the logo for streamers
In order to present the fun content they offer on the Twitch TV platform, most streamers create logo, banners, icons, gifs, videos… in short, all types of visual media that can improve their brand and give credibility to the gaming population present on Twitch.
In this process, the french streamer Myzalia asked me to create a logo and some visual contents. You can see below the logo and these variations as well as the chosen typography.
Brand Identity
The logo represents an M in the form of typography and the combination with a creature: in its center, we can see the eyes of that creature, representing the first letter of the brand name and the Twitch page video games universe.
Common usage
Like a TV show credits, streamers end their session with video and audio contents. The logo is essential because it is the last thing viewer will see or the first one when the stream begins.
Simplicity is better
For this kind of platform, the logo should be simple, easily recognizable and unique
I drew various M shapes, creatures eyes from video games,
and decided to combine these two
Creative process
I always draw sketches first on paper, then I work entirely in vector graphics on Illustrator. The presentation is created on InDesign.
